PRO’s specialist team advises a wide variety of leading clients across a broad range of business classes, from very old legacy losses to current claims. Our adjusters currently act on behalf of over 60 clients including UK insurance and reinsurance companies, Lloyd’s syndicates, overseas insurance and reinsurance companies, and complex UK pools. These clients have written business in both a lead and following capacity worldwide, with liabilities under management including both direct portfolios and assumed reinsurance.

How we work

Flexibility is a key strength of our service and, where necessary, we can base our team at client sites, providing either a full claims adjusting service or providing additional experienced resource when required.

Aware of clients’ commercial requirements and reputation issues at stake, we make sure valid claims are settled quickly after a rigorous adjusting process. As part of that process, we provide regular feedback on our execution of the client’s claims strategy.

The market is constantly changing and we are committed to staying fully up to date with the latest developments. As well as maintaining up to date knowledge and market intelligence on all claims and legal issues, we are also able to supplement this with general information and data resources available through the wider Swiss Re organisation.

Fees

Our fee structure varies according to the needs of our clients. We have a variety of different pricing structures including competitive hourly rates and fixed budgets.

Our team

With a substantial team of claims adjusters based at our London office, complemented by an experienced support team in Gloucester, we are able to advise on projects of all types and sizes. Our people have built up significant expertise in adjusting all classes of business (except life), and the majority of our London team have an average of more than twenty years’ claims adjusting experience. This experience has been gained at the forefront of several of the industry’s largest and most complex claims of recent years, and we continue to pioneer new initiatives that will benefit our clients.
