Simon qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC and has been involved in insurance and reinsurance account management for captives and European operations both live and run off since 1992.
Responsibilities
After successfully helping Tawa float on the AIM market in July 2007, Simon has since been involved in a number of Tawa acquisitions and restructuring projects and is the Chief Financial Officer for the Tawa Group and PRO.
Specialist Expertise
Simon managed the implementation of the first solvent pool scheme of arrangement in the London market and from 2003 to 2007 he was Managing Director of CNA’s European run off and consultancy arm, GRM. After consolidating a number of run off entities into a single entity a strategic review of the groups run off culminated in a company sale to Tawa. He has been actively involved in a number of Creditors Committees for insolvent insurance companies.
