PRO sign up to use London's Electronic Claims File service

PRO has become the first run-off service provider to sign up to use London's Electronic Claims File (ECF) service.

Over the past 12 months there has been a considerable increase in the amount of new claims being processed using ECF. ECF which was developed to speed up both accounting and claims processes in the London market, allows insurers to view all risk and claims documentation in a central secured database.   

The facility will enable PRO to provide an enhanced adjusting service to both its live and legacy clients, assist with reinsurance recoveries and the development of PRO's expanding broker replacement service.

Lee Brandon, CEO of PRO commented that "the amount of files being added to ECF meant it was imperative for companies such as PRO to be involved. Generally there's more pressure to get claims on live business through more quickly. However, having said that, all our clients whether legacy or live, want the most up to date information".
