Philip has worked in the insurance/reinsurance industry for over 30 years having been with Pro since its formation in 1993.  Philip spent his early career in underwriting roles working for Royal Insurance, for an AIG subsidiary in Brussels and The English & American Group with a focus upon non-marine property and casualty classes of business.

Throughout his career at Pro, Philip has utilised his strong technical background to lead numerous inspection of records projects, resulting in considerable balance sheet savings for clients.

Philip is fluent (to native speaker standard) in both spoken and written French and German and he is regularly involved in audit visits and negotiations with a large number of major insurers throughout Europe.  Philip has responsibility for leading Pro’s development activities in continental Europe.

Philip is a graduate of Oxford University, has an Honours degree in Modern Languages (French and German) and he is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
