Patrick is deputy head of the actuarial department.  With responsibility for the pricing of and actuarial due diligence for potential acquisitions as well as undertaking commutation and reserving exercises on behalf of Pro’s clients, Patrick also specialises in assisting clients with asbestos reserving and was a member of the UK Asbestos Working Party that produced the most recent industry projections in 2009.  He currently sits on the FSA’s Expert Group for Solvency II Internal Models.

Prior to joining Pro, Patrick was at EMB for 6 years where he undertook reserving for Lloyd’s syndicates and London Market companies.  He has regularly provided litigation support for expert and fact witness testimony and been involved as part of independent actuarial teams in numerous transfers of business such as sales, Schemes of Arrangements and Part VII transfers.

He qualified as an actuary in 2002.
